Move In/Move Out Cleaning Service: In order to provide you with our optimum service, we require the home be completely empty of all belongings and free of any debris. On the MOVE, no problem! Do you currently have a crew on site?, we can make it happen. There are a number of ways to coordinate our services with those of your movers.

Maintenance Cleanings are available for existing customers on a Weekly, Bi-monthly, Monthly or Custom Scheduling basis. (Note: Maintenance Cleaning to follow first initial Deep Cleaning or Move In service)

Appointments: Our staff strives for a prompt arrival, however, due to the possibility of unexpected occurrences; please allow for a 60 minute window from the scheduled service time. For example, if your cleaning is scheduled for 9 am, you should anticipate your service team to arrive between 9-10 am. 

Access & Lock-Outs: It is not necessary for you to be home during your cleaning, unless preferred. A key can be left on the premises allowing our staff access to the property for scheduled services. In such instances, your key will be carefully secured and your property will be locked upon exiting the premises. Please be advised, due to our services being in such high demand, a $40 fee will be assessed if our staff arrives within the scheduled time frame and are unable to access the property.

Cancellations: Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will be subject to a $40 cancellation fee. Service reminders are sent via email as a courtesy to all new customers.

Water and Power: In order to provide you with the best service possible, access to running water and electricity is essential and required.

Heavy Lifting: Please be advised, our staff is not permitted to use ladders other than step stools or lift/move anything heavier than 35lbs. If you would like our staff to clean behind large appliances, please have it/them moved prior to the cleaning in order to allow clearance.

Tips/Gratuity: Although it is not necessary to tip our staff, tips are greatly appreciated. Any gratuity can be set aside in a specific location (kitchen counter) and clearly labeled (Total Home Detail). Gratuity can also be included upon online booking and will gladly be passed on to your service team.

Satisfaction Guaranteed: If you are not satisfied with your service, we will gladly schedule a re-cleaning at no additional cost. Dissatisfied customers must report within 48hrs of the original service date. We want nothing more than to make things right, please describe the area of dissatisfaction and our team be gladly address any problem areas. Per company policy, refunds will not be issued without first re-cleaning the problem areas within 5 days of the original service date. Please note: Re-cleanings nor refunds will be issued if access to water and/or power was inaccessible at the original scheduled date/time of service.

Please note: Total Home Detail does not guarantee a return of your security deposit; it’s not our decision to make. Our job is to give you peace of mind knowing the final home cleaning was done in a timely manner with the utmost professionalism.

Total Home Detail offers the best service and employs the best staff in the industry. A great deal of time and resources are put into recruiting and training our staff members. As part of our service agreement, you agree not to independently hire any past or present Total Home Detail staff members regardless of using them for a one-time or recurring service.

Note: We pride ourselves on delivering 5 star quality cleaning services, however, due to the delicacy of certain areas and the need of specialized equipment, our staff does not provide the following service(s) in-house but we are partnered with industry experts, call us direct for details:

  • Bio-Hazardous Substance Cleaning- Mold, Human Bodily Fluids, Pet/Animal Waste
  • Heights and Heavy Lifting- Please be advised, our staff is not permitted to use ladders other than step stools or lift/move anything heavier than 35lbs.
