- Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning Service
To provide the best service possible, the home must be completely empty of personal belongings and free of debris before our team arrives. Running water and electricity are required. If movers or other vendors are still working onsite, we can help coordinate when possible, but the cleaning area must be accessible and ready for service.
Recurring Maintenance Cleanings
Recurring maintenance cleanings are available for existing customers on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or custom schedule. Maintenance cleaning is intended to follow an initial deep cleaning or move-in cleaning service.
Appointments
Our team makes every effort to arrive on time. Due to traffic, scheduling changes, or unexpected delays, please allow a 60-minute arrival window from the scheduled service time. For example, if your cleaning is scheduled for 9:00 AM, your service team may arrive between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Access & Lock-Outs
You do not need to be home during your cleaning unless you prefer to be. A key, access code, or other entry instructions may be provided ahead of time. Your key and property access information will be handled with care.
If our team arrives within the scheduled arrival window and is unable to access the property, a $45 lock-out fee may apply.
Cancellations
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled service time may be subject to a $45 cancellation fee. Service reminders may be sent by email or text as a courtesy.
Water and Power
Access to running water and electricity is required for service. If water and/or power are unavailable, the cleaning may need to be rescheduled and a fee may apply.
Heavy Lifting
For safety reasons, our team is not permitted to lift or move items heavier than 35 lbs. If you would like our team to clean behind large furniture, appliances, or heavy items, please have those items moved before your scheduled cleaning.
Tips / Gratuity
Tips are never required, but they are always appreciated. If you would like to leave a gratuity, it may be left in a clearly marked location or added during online booking when available.
Satisfaction Guaranteed
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of the original service date and let us know the specific areas of concern.
When appropriate, we will gladly schedule a re-cleaning of the reported areas at no additional cost. Re-cleanings must be completed within 5 days of the original service date.
Please note: refunds are not issued when a re-cleaning is offered or when access to water and/or power was unavailable at the original scheduled service time.
Security Deposit Disclaimer
Total Home Detail does not guarantee the return of any rental, lease, or security deposit. Deposit decisions are made by the landlord, property manager, or owner. Our goal is to provide a detailed cleaning service that helps leave the home in the best possible condition.
Hiring Our Staff
Total Home Detail invests time and resources into hiring, training, and supporting our team members. By using our services, customers agree not to directly hire or solicit current or former Total Home Detail staff members for private cleaning services outside of Total Home Detail.
Services We Do Not Provide In-House
Due to safety, liability, and specialized equipment requirements, Total Home Detail does not provide the following services in-house. When appropriate, we may refer or coordinate with trusted industry professionals:
- Biohazardous substance cleaning, including mold, human bodily fluids, and pet/animal waste
- Heights, ladder work, or heavy lifting beyond our service policy
- Moving and packing services (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
- Barbecue grill, pit, or smoker cleaning
- Pool/spa cleaning (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
- Professional window cleaning (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
- Professional blind cleaning (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
- Carpet cleaning or stain removal (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
- Tile and grout specialty cleaning (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
- Professional painting services (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
- Landscaping or general yard maintenance (Industry experts available, call us direct for details)
